I’ve received a script on 2015 HCI Application Question. This is the version after some minor post-editing. I would score this 7/10 but have some concerns on length and clarity of stand. Overall, I still think that this is a good attempt. The WHO recently announced their findings that processed meats fall into the same cancer-risk category as tobacco smoke, meaning “there is convincing evidence that the agent causes cancer.” I’m not sure how such a report would actually impact or change people’s preferences for processed meats. Perhaps people might be more conscious of their processed meat intake but I don’t think this is serious enough to completely deter consumers from purchasing hams and sausages. Then again, what’s there to guarantee that other food sources are safe for consumption?
