Selene Cheng is a qualified English teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English to primary and secondary school students, as well as young adults. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English Literature from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) awarded by Cambridge University. Prior to teaching English, Selene was a writer, copyeditor and proofreader for various private sector companies.

Selene is familiar with the common problems students face in learning English. She is patient and thorough in her teaching approach, and helps students to understand difficult areas of English through simple language and appropriate analogies. She aims to develop her students to be confident speakers, clear writers, and critical thinkers, so they can maximise their full learning potential.

Selene is currently teaching primary to JC English at various tuition centres in Singapore.
