A Level GP Tuition – PSLE Math Question on $1 coins

A Level GP Tuition – PSLE math Question on $1 coins (Article)

Every year, there would bound to be a hot debate over a certain question from the PSLE on one of its tricky questions. Many parents would end up being upset because the question was not ‘fair’ or ‘not within syllabus’. Such attitudes are still premised on the notion that the PSLE is a high-stakes national examination and that there should be no ‘trick questions’ to cause students anxiety. Some of the responses by the public will probably raise eyebrows, when they express their discontent as they start to sink into a blame-mentality. This query posed by this individual probably speaks for itself:

I like this comment the most though: “Ms Yin wrote: “The conclusion among parents from this question is that their children should be made to do more housework so they could acquire basic knowledge on life.”

By the way the question is : How heavy are eight $1 Singapore coins? Six grams, 60g, 600g or 6kg?
